ABOUT THE POSITION:

We are now looking for a System Test Engineer for our client in the defense industry. The role is broad and technically deep, focusing on verification and validation of complete systems. The work involves testing software, hardware, and electronics in collaboration, where system integration, functionality, and performance are central. You will work closely with development and projects to ensure that the systems function as a whole in their intended environment.

As a System Test Engineer, you will be an important part of the client's testing operations and work closely with the development, design, and project organization. Tests are conducted both in laboratory environments and in the field, sometimes directly at the end customer and in operational environments, such as vehicle systems.

The position is suitable for both those with experience in testing operations and those who want to grow into a more leading role as a system test leader over time. The organization is characterized by a high pace of change, growth, and significant technical depth, which requires both drive and adaptability.

Travel may occur in the position.

• Plan, execute, and document system tests of complex technical systems
• Work with testing in laboratory environments as well as at external locations and in the field
• Verify functionality, performance, and system integration between software, hardware, and electronics
• Collaborate with project teams, developers, and other testing resources in a matrix organization
• Participate in troubleshooting, analysis, and improvement work
• In the long term, the opportunity to take on greater responsibility in the form of test management, planning, and coordination of testing work

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:

• Have a Master's degree in a relevant field, such as computer engineering, electrical engineering, or technical physics
• Have a couple of years of experience in testing operations, preferably system testing or verification of complex systems
• Have a good technical understanding of both software and hardware
• Are proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

This is a consultancy assignment which means you will be employed by Friday.
