We are now looking for nursing assistants to Tjustgården's special housing.

Your Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include providing care, assistance, and support to the elderly based on their individual needs and creating a meaningful everyday life for them. We work according to a salutogenic approach, which means that we see the strengths in each individual and the resources and conditions they have.

Your mission will be to provide the elderly with care and the approach that shows consideration, respect, and makes a difference every day. This helps us add a special touch to their everyday lives. We offer a challenging and stimulating job with great versatility and the opportunity to make an impact.

You will work days and evenings according to a schedule.

Your Qualifications

We want you to have a degree from the care and nursing program or equivalent education.

Previous work experience in care and nursing is an advantage.

The most important thing for us is that you have a genuine interest in providing support and service to others. We value positivity, engagement, responsibility, and flexibility in your working style. In this role, you will collaborate with users, their relatives, colleagues, and other professionals. Therefore, you need to be able to work well with others. We also want you to be attentive and have good communication skills.

It is important that you have a strong empathetic ability and can listen to and understand the various needs of the users, as well as a willingness to meet these needs in the best possible way. The position requires you to be responsible, proactive, and flexible in your approach. We place great value on commitment to the work and a desire to contribute to the best of the organization.

You have good IT skills and can easily work with our systems for record-keeping and documentation.

To be considered for the current position in Västervik municipality, you must present an extract from the police criminal record. As of July 1, 2023, the title of nursing assistant will be a protected professional title. This means that proof will be required to use the title of nursing assistant in care and nursing.
