IT and Information Security Engineer
We are now looking for an IT and Information Security Engineer with experience in technical analysis and requirement specification within information security. Do you want to work on qualified and socially important projects where you are involved from need to delivery? Then you might be the one we are looking for.
About the position
As an IT and Information Security Engineer within the Marine Equipment area, you will work on technically advanced projects related to marine vessels and systems. You will ensure that requirements from the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration and the Armed Forces are met by:
- conducting requirement analysis and specifying information security requirements during procurements
- monitoring and controlling suppliers' security work
- contributing to quality-assured deliveries of IT and information security work
- conducting vulnerability analyses
In this role, you will work closely with both customers, suppliers, and colleagues from different parts of the organization. You will drive the work to develop methods, routines, and working methods for continuous security work and follow the technical development in the field to ensure that the organization stays ahead. Travel within Sweden and internationally is a natural part of the job.
The position is located in Karlskrona.
About you
We are looking for someone who has:
- a degree in computer science, IT, or information security
- very good ability to read technical documentation and write reports in Swedish and English
- good knowledge of development methods and working practices for producing secure software
It is an advantage if you:
- have several years of experience in IT or information security
- have the ability to analyze design solutions and design IT systems
- have experience in delivering secure systems
- have knowledge of the Armed Forces' IT processes and accreditation work
- have a B driver's license

The Marine Equipment area is responsible for the procurement, modification, and maintenance of marine systems used by the Armed Forces. With professional employees, we carry out and develop the operations together with the rest of FMV, in close collaboration with the Armed Forces and the industry. The Marine area consists of three production departments: Surface Combat Systems, Underwater Combat Systems, and Amphibious, Base, and Support Systems, and has operations in Stockholm, Karlskrona, and Malmö, as well as a staff and system management department.
