Region Blekinge has recently implemented a new care system, Cosmic, and therefore there is an increased need for a system administrator focused on Care Economy in Cosmic. As a system administrator, you will work in the Economic Area, a part of Region Blekinge that develops and delivers support and service functions to all operations within the economic area.

You will be placed in the Accounting Department, where economists, system administrators, and accounting assistants work – a total of 25 employees. The department is organizationally placed within the Economic Area with the mission to support and serve the entire Region Blekinge within the economics/accounting area.

The Job

As a system administrator in the accounting department, you are responsible for supporting the operations in the best possible way. In this role, you are the spider in the web that holds together the financial flows of healthcare in the region's IT systems. A large part of your work involves ongoing management, adaptation, testing, quality assurance, and development of the financial flows in healthcare. The job also entails being the department's and the region's representative in both local and national networks to monitor and manage issues within the Care Economy area.

The role means you hold a key position within the organization, where you, together with your colleagues, are the cohesive link between the needs of the operations and various suppliers regarding the financial flows for healthcare. Your work extends beyond merely managing existing systems; it also includes an important role in driving and promoting development in digitalization and welfare technology. This means you actively participate in identifying and implementing innovative solutions that can improve and streamline operations.

About You

General Qualifications

To be considered for the position, you should have a university degree in IT or system science, with experience in economic work or equivalent knowledge that the employer assesses as comparable. We are looking for someone with a strong drive and interest in problem-solving, as well as a service-oriented personality.

To succeed in the role, you need to have a good understanding of systems and an interest in digitalization and requirements analysis. You thrive in a coordinating role and independently drive your work forward with a focus on improvements and development, while also having the ability to engage and motivate others. You are good at planning, organizing, and documenting your work, which is characterized by quality and precision. You act as a bridge between the different parts of the organization and ensure that the systems support and promote the goals of the operations. Our corporate language is Swedish, and you should be able to express yourself well in both spoken and written form. Furthermore, there may be contacts with suppliers from abroad, which means we expect you to also have good knowledge of English.

Meritorious Qualifications

We would like you to have the following experience:

  • Ownership and management of various systems
  • Validation of system configuration in connection with changes
  • Requirements management and testing of functional requirements
  • Documentation of processes
  • Leading development work in changes to both working methods and system changes

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Region Blekinge places all permanent staff in a crisis position. Some of our positions are security classified, where the employee must undergo a security clearance interview and background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585).

About Economics

Region Blekinge's organization is divided into six areas of responsibility, one of which is economics. Here are the organization's collective resources for economics, accounting, and analysis. The area also includes the business department and the ordering department for healthcare and dental care. The mission of the economics area is to lead, develop, and support the organization's work in procurement, economics, and analysis. The area has overall responsibility for processes related to planning, budgeting, follow-up, accounting, procurement, and classification. Within the area, there is also responsibility for continuous development and implementation of common methodologies, models, and working methods within economics and procurement.
