About the Role

We are now looking for computational engineers in structural analysis for our office in Gothenburg! If you are interested in computational tasks focusing on pressure vessels, pipes, steel structures, and similar, and want to be part of a great team with high competence, this position might be for you.

In Gothenburg, we are about 90 employees distributed among various specialist areas, backgrounds, and experience levels, but with the common denominator that we share your passion for technical calculations using, among other things, FEM or CFD. Here we have a total of six sections with different focuses, which allows us to cover many different industries while working closely together. With us, there are opportunities to gain experience in several different sectors and learn to handle various calculation software.

As a computational engineer with us, you will work on advanced technical calculations, focusing on structural analysis. The assignments may vary in both size and content and can be performed either in-house in our own facilities or on-site at our clients' locations.

Requirements

We are now looking for someone with a solid education in structural analysis. We believe you have a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Physics, or Civil Engineering, with a focus on strength analysis.

You have good theoretical knowledge in structural analysis. If you have knowledge of any commercial software (e.g., Ansa, Ansys, Abaqus, Nastran, or Adams), it is an advantage, and it is highly advantageous if you have knowledge of pipe/pressure vessel software (e.g., PV Elite, VVD, ROHR2, Caepipe, or Pipestress). You should have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. We are interested in both recent graduates and engineers with work experience.

As a person, you are meticulous, ambitious, and curious. You have an eye for detail and the ability to explain complex technical terms to those around you. You enjoy meeting people and can adapt to new environments. You are independent, proactive, used to taking your own initiatives, and good at communicating and documenting.
