Quality Technician Wanted

We are looking for a meticulous and responsible quality technician who wants to contribute to the highest quality in our client's production. You will play a central role in ensuring that their products meet high-quality standards and in working on continuous improvements of their processes. The assignment is a consultancy role.

Responsibilities and Authorities:

Responsible for conducting and documenting tests in ongoing production
Together with the supervisor or factory manager, have the authority to stop production in case of serious faults
Conduct tests and maintain contact with authorities to uphold the P-mark
Extract specific products from production for inspection and testing
Calibrate and ensure that all measuring equipment is correctly set and functioning
Assist in outcome testing of new and modified products

Tasks:

Call and lead meetings in case of major deviations that may cause production or delivery stops
Support other departments with analyses and improvement measures in case of product deviations
Collect data in specified areas and report results to relevant parties within the organization
Participate in product development and improve quality standards for production
Identify risks in production processes and suggest measures
Participate in production improvements based on information from product audits
Administer deviation reporting and manage logs in our deviation system Tanum
Fill in control journals for operations with increased risk and handle complaints on materials

Competence Requirements:

Very good product knowledge and experience in quality work
Strong collaborative skills and ability to communicate clearly and respectfully
Experience with production systems and quality standards
Driven, structured, and organized with good computer skills
Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
Ability to speak in front of a group and lead meetings
A strong interest in improvement work and process development
Ability to take initiative and work independently
