About Us

We are part of the central operational support within the Stockholm County Council (SLSO).

Our task is to develop and strategically manage SLSO's total purchasing volume of approximately 2 billion SEK per year. The procurement and purchasing support unit consists of 15 people with roles such as procurement officers, contract controllers, buyers, and system administrators. We have a clear customer focus where the operations are our customers.

The position is located at Torsplan and individual agreements regarding remote work are possible.

About the Position

This recruitment concerns a one-year temporary position as our contract controller within the categories of food and cleaning will be on parental leave.

During the temporary position, the focus will be on managing, following up, and developing existing contracts as well as ensuring a good supplier relationship. The work is carried out in close collaboration with the operations.

A new contract within cleaning will be implemented in 2026. We use the Avista time system for follow-up, editing cleaning schedules, and reports, and you will be the system administrator.

Within the food category, we have several contracts regarding meals for our patients, primarily within psychiatry and geriatrics, with one of our largest contracts set to be implemented in early 2027.

You should be able to take independent responsibility for the tasks after a short introduction.

Qualifications

You have a relevant education, either a university degree or specific purchasing or procurement training. You have good knowledge of purchasing methodology and the Public Procurement Act (LOU). You express yourself very well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, have good computer skills, and learn new systems quickly.

We consider it an advantage if you have:

• experience in qualified purchasing and procurement work from public or private sectors, preferably with a focus on Facility Management (FM)
• experience in writing and submitting bids to public entities, preferably within FM
• experience in similar work as a contract manager within food and/or cleaning
• experience with some of the systems Avista time, E-avrop, Microsoft Office, Qlikview, or Qlik Sense.

As a person, you are communicative, business-minded, service-oriented, and have the ability to see the big picture. You are structured in your work approach and enjoy learning new things. You find it easy to speak in front of and coordinate a group. We place great importance on personal qualities.

The position is a one-year parental leave temporary position full-time. Since it is a parental leave position, the duration of the temporary position may be adjusted.

• background checks are applied before hiring decisions according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks during employment.
• employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment.
• good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required, in addition to Swedish professional license. The same requirements apply to non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
