We are now looking for an In-house Sales to support our Groups & Events Team with bookings, detailed planning regarding events, administration, being an extended arm with complex bookings, and driving projects within the team.

Working within the commercial team at Sheraton Stockholm as In-house Sales means you must enjoy working on multiple tasks simultaneously, have a high stress threshold, be detail-oriented, have good knowledge of PMS and Sales & Catering systems (OPERA), and have a burning interest in selling and delivering outstanding service and customer interaction in a professional manner.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Handling incoming group and meeting requests with short lead times
• Conducting needs analysis and sending quotes based on customer requests
• Maximizing food and beverage revenues from groups through upselling
• Conducting detailed planning with customers regarding hotel rooms, conferences, food and beverage, technology, etc.
• Informing all relevant hotel departments about what is needed to execute a successful event that meets customer needs and expectations
• Managing all internal bookings at the hotel such as meetings, courses, sales events from A to Z
• Supporting the Group & Events team with larger and complex group and conference bookings
• Being primarily responsible for updating and maintaining all files and documents for the Group & Events Team
• Driving projects for the Group & Events Team
• Ensuring that all bookings adhere to all established financial processes
• Representing the hotel in show-arounds with clients and other events as needed

We are looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

We seek you who is a team player and has previously worked with booking accommodations and/or conferences. We want you to have:

• Education in hospitality or equivalent
• Experience working with hotel data systems. OPERA PMS and Sales & Catering are advantageous
• Very good computer skills
• Excellent knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form is a requirement, additional languages are a plus
