As a nursing assistant, you have an important societal role.

Änggårdsbacken, located at Per Dubbsgatan 4, near Sahlgrenska University Hospital, currently has a total of 169 places distributed across three buildings. We are now strengthening our staffing with more employees. We are looking for 8 nursing assistants for Änggårdsbacken house A (somatic focus).

In your work, you start from the healthy aspects of the resident and utilize the individual's resources. You motivate and stimulate the resident based on their individual circumstances in their own home, which is part of the care and nursing home.

Your tasks include personal care as well as encouragement and support in social activities around the clock. Some tasks are performed on behalf of licensed personnel. Part of your work also involves planning, implementing, documenting, and following up on care work with the resident. All social documentation is done digitally.

Your working hours are scheduled for day/evening and on weekends.

About You

Requirements

• We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant, can show the Socialstyrelsen certificate of protected professional title, or can demonstrate that you were employed as a nursing assistant at the introduction of the new regulations
• You have experience working in care and nursing
• Computer skills to document in IT systems
• Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

In your role, you meet many people, which requires you to work together with others to achieve common goals. You should be respectful, open in your meetings, and always have the residents' best interests in focus. The workday can sometimes be different than planned because you work with people, so you maintain calm, balance different demands, and reprioritize your tasks.
