Resource Nurse in Home Care

Within the health and medical care unit in Mariestad municipality, there are about 50 nurses working.

We now need to recruit a resource nurse in home care where you will work with individuals with varying needs, from basic medical interventions to increasingly qualified home care.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, your tasks will be very varied, including:

• Planning, implementing, and evaluating health and medical care interventions.
• Coordinating the patient's health and medical care contact with other healthcare providers.
• Working with preventive measures to maintain health.
• Working in a team with other nurses, care staff, rehabilitation staff, and case managers.
• Collaboration with the responsible health center physician.
• Contact and support for relatives.
• Safe and traceable documentation.

We work according to a 12-week schedule with daytime and evening shifts as well as every third weekend.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be considered for the position, you must be a licensed nurse.

You have a strong sense of responsibility and can work independently. It is important that you have an empathetic ability and are solution-oriented, as well as enjoy variation in your daily work.

If you are used to communicating with alternative and augmentative communication and have previous work experience in municipal health and medical care, it is considered an advantage.

A B driver's license is a requirement for the position.
