We are now looking for care assistants for home care in Kortedala.

Working in elderly care gives you the opportunity to contribute to joy and well-being. The goal is for care recipients to have meaningful days, where you provide good care and social support. Your working hours are scheduled during the day and every other weekend.

Working in home care means that you support and assist the care recipient in their own home based on approved services. You will travel to the individual's home by foot, e-bike, or car. Your work includes practical assistance with personal hygiene and care, support during meals, activities, laundry, cleaning, and more.

You will also perform health and medical tasks according to instructions and delegation from licensed personnel. All social documentation is done digitally. If you have not previously used the systems used within the City of Gothenburg, you will receive training in these.

As a care assistant in home care, you will have a varied job where you contribute to a dignified and meaningful life.

About You

Qualifications

• Experience in care and support work
• Good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Comfortable using an e-bike as a work vehicle

Desirable but not a requirement

• Trained care assistant
• Driving license and driving experience

To ensure high quality in our care and support, we prefer that you who do not have a care education have the necessary prerequisites to further your education to become a care assistant or nursing assistant through adult education. We think long-term and want you as an employee to grow and develop, so we prefer that you are motivated to pursue further studies in care and support. We will prioritize candidates who have the required prerequisites.
