We are now looking for temporary staff who can work this summer at our daily operations, Frösunda Aktivitetshus!

JOB DESCRIPTION

At Frösunda Omsorg, we are looking for someone who wants to work as a close support to individuals with various types of disabilities. Our daily operations are characterized by creativity and joy of creation. Our clients participate in activities such as music, communication, media, wellness, carpentry, painting, sewing, and baking. With us, you will have the opportunity to use your creative sides in your work with the clients!

In your role as a support assistant, you will help the client to be involved in their daily activities. This can be through providing physical support, such as helping the client hold the brush while painting. It can also be cognitive support where you can assist the person in orienting themselves in the premises or serve as a memory aid. Since many of our clients use an alternative way to communicate (e.g., symbol boards and signs), the role also involves acting as an interpreter for other clients and staff. The support you provide is always based on the client's needs and current condition.

In addition to this, you will assist clients with ADL such as hygiene, eating and drinking, mobility, toilet visits, and dressing and undressing.

Job Responsibilities

The work primarily involves:

• Leading or supporting clients in their activities

• Assisting clients with ADL

• Performing delegated tasks; administering medication, tube feeding, RIK

• Support in communication

• Mobility assistance

Qualifications and Personal Attributes

• Experience in leading groups/activities

• Experience in care work

• Low-arousal approach, AAC, and clear pedagogy

• Ability to prioritize in work with clients

• Very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written

• Computer and documentation skills

We are looking for someone who is social, empathetic, curious, and confident in themselves. Previous experience working with the target group (LSS) and care training is a plus.

Additional Information

• Employment type: Summer and temporary positions

• Working hours (if needed): Daytime, Monday-Friday approximately 09:30-15:30

• Start date: According to agreement

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
