Brohuset is a daily activity center in Rotebro for individuals within person group 1 with extensive support needs. Here we work with clear pedagogical methods, alternative and augmentative communication (AAC), and create a safe and meaningful everyday life through activities such as music, movement, creativity, and sensory stimulation. The operations are based on each individual's needs, interests, and conditions. SOLOM is Sollentuna Municipality's largest provider of elderly care and LSS. We were established in 2013 and are uniquely a municipal-owned care and support company. SOLOM is one of Sollentuna's largest employers and currently operates at around 30 locations in the municipality. Do you want to make a real difference in the daily lives of people with disabilities? As a support assistant in a daily activity center, you work closely with participants and support them in developing, growing, and living a life with self-determination and participation. Here, you will be an important part of creating safety, structure, and joy every day.
About the position
As a support assistant in a daily activity center within LSS, you help create a meaningful, developing, and safe everyday life for the participants. You work together with the individual based on set goals and plan activities that strengthen participation, independence, and well-being. Through your engagement and attentive approach, you help shape an environment where each person has the opportunity to grow based on their own conditions.
In your role, you are both a guide and a practical support in everyday life. You document interventions, maintain contact with relatives and other important contacts, and collaborate with colleagues and other professionals to create a cohesive support system.
Common tasks will include:
- Planning and implementing activities together with participants based on implementation plans
- Being a support person and following up on individual goals
- Documenting interventions in social journals according to applicable guidelines
- Contributing to a safe, structured, and inspiring environment

The position is a permanent employment, with a possible probationary period of 100% with start date according to agreement. Working hours are scheduled on weekdays.
Your profile
To succeed in this role, we see that you have:
- At least a high school diploma from a health and care program or equivalent education
- Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form
- Basic computer skills, and can use email, Word, and work in operational systems.
- Knowledge of what LSS entails and how the law is implemented in practice for self-determination and participation.
- A valid driver's license (B)
It is an advantage if you have experience with clear pedagogical methods and/or low-arousal approaches. It is also positive if you have knowledge of and have worked based on KASAM (sense of coherence).

About the recruitment process
