Senior Key Account Manager
As a Senior Key Account Manager at a Nordic level, you will be responsible for developing and growing our most strategically important customers within defense, government, and industrial sectors. You will drive both existing and new business in satellite communication (Satcom), RF technology, and advanced communication solutions, acting as the commercial link between the customer and our technical organization. You will work long-term with business development, strategic customer plans, complex contracts, and solution selling – always with a focus on security, robustness, and high availability.
Responsibilities
Your main areas of responsibility include:
- Owning and developing relationships with Nordic key customers in defense, crisis management, and industry
- Identifying new business opportunities and driving expansion at both national and Nordic levels
- Leading advanced contract negotiations in security-classified and technically complex environments
- Being responsible for customer plans, quotes, forecasts, and pipeline
- Collaborating closely with technical teams for secure handover of business to operations and delivery
- Working in CRM systems and utilizing industry-specific platforms such as Satcompass NextGen, Satcontrol, etc.
- Representing the company at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry forums in the Nordics
- Continuously reporting business status, leads, and opportunities to the CEO
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has/is:
- A bachelor's degree from a college or university in business, engineering, or military background with experience from the Armed Forces
- At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales and negotiation, preferably within Satcom, RF technology, telecom, defense, or advanced technical solution selling
- Experience selling to public authorities, military, or other security-classified entities
- Technical understanding of communication technology, RF, telecom, or satellite systems
- Comfortable in complex procurements, long sales cycles, and strategic customer dialogues
- Experience with CRM systems
- Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Driving license (B-class) (required)
- Willingness to travel in (primarily) the Nordics
- Swedish citizenship
