FOR INTERIOR DESIGN COMPANIES IN PUBLIC AFFAIRS
Senab's first interior design saw the light of day in 1975, and today we are one of the leading suppliers in the Nordic region to both the private sector and the public sector. For over fifty years, we have guided projects – often together with architects – from inventory and sustainable choices to logistics and the realization of customer needs. And we intend to continue doing so.
Because we know that when people feel good and can grow with their challenges, businesses also thrive. Our philosophy is that interior design constitutes an important piece of the puzzle by creating the right conditions at work. We call it inner strength — the difference we want to create together with you who are curious about us.
Just like in our assignments, we want to continue to develop – both as a team and as a business. Therefore, we are now looking for an Account Manager focused on public affairs for our office in Stockholm. A person with the drive to develop new and existing businesses – so that we can continue to grow responsibly.
Is this you?
A personal interest in furniture and interior design, as well as experience in the interior design industry, certainly helps. But – that is not what determines if you are the right person. For us, it is more important that you have good knowledge of sales to businesses – and even more important experience in sales to organizations within the public sector. Above all, you need to have the ability to define business opportunities, develop existing collaborations, and then create projects from them. To make good long-term deals in the public sector, you need experience and good knowledge of procurement and working with framework agreements.
About the role
At Senab, you will have a business-driven role where you are responsible for creating new customer relationships and developing exciting interior design projects in the region. Your focus will be on early identification of projects within the public sector, where Senab has strong framework agreements, and developing them into business.
As an Account Manager, you will work independently and proactively to find new business, engage customers, and drive the sales process from the first contact to closure. You will do this with the support of experienced Account Managers and a strong internal team. Close to you in everyday life are project coordinators, sustainability experts, interior architects, purchasers, bid specialists, as well as delivery and assembly personnel. Together, we ensure that the customer receives the right overall solution – functionally, economically, and sustainably.
You do not sell furniture – you help our customers buy the right interior design for their environments, based on their needs. You always advocate solutions, services, and project management where sustainability and reuse are part of the offer.
Your tasks
Represent Senab in customer meetings, industry forums, and other business contexts
Identify new business opportunities with existing and potential customers and transform these into value-creating offers
Develop business within the public sector, for example, towards municipalities, universities, and authorities
Actively work with existing framework agreements and contract customers
Lead and coordinate the development of timelines, budget proposals, and project structures together with internal project coordinators
Follow up on customer dialogues and ensure progress in the business
Drive the business all the way to closure and long-term collaboration
Meet sales targets, profitability, and budget in line with the company's strategy
Your background and experience
We are looking for a driven and self-sufficient relationship builder with solid experience in B2B sales who thrives in a proactive and business-oriented role. You have a clear business mindset and are motivated by creating profitable projects – both by developing existing contracts and through active new customer acquisition.
You work in a structured and results-oriented manner, with a consultative and solution-focused approach. You are skilled at understanding the customer's needs in depth and translating them into value-creating offers. At the same time, you are strong in follow-up and used to driving processes all the way to closure.
As a person, you are curious, respectful, and generous with your knowledge. You enjoy being out with customers and building long-term relationships that create value – for both the customer and for Senab.
Extra merits if you have
Experience in sales to the public sector
Knowledge of procurement, framework agreements, and contract customers
Experience in complex interior design projects or similar business setups
Ability to price, close deals, and create long-term business
We offer you
A developing role where your contribution is visible and where you have the opportunity to influence customers' work environments
Knowledgeable and helpful colleagues in a culture characterized by collaboration and knowledge sharing
Exciting customer projects and responsible work in a varied environment
A well-renowned employer with a strong position in the interior design industry
An inspiring work environment with an office and showroom centrally located in Stockholm on Regeringsgatan
The opportunity to work with well-known products and brands
