About Villa Roos Park

Villa Roos Park is a modern, dementia-friendly nursing home in Staffanstorp. It has 63 apartments, a large garden, allotments, and a glazed winter garden. The facility is specialized and adapted for residents with dementia, which influences its design and decor. Villa Roos Park also has a department with eight places focused on short-term care, somatic orientation.

About Villa Vikhem

Villa Vikhem is a nursing home in the Vikhem area of Staffanstorp. It has 60 places, 40 focused on somatic care. 20 places are designated for short-term care.

About the role

You will work in a team with other rehabilitation staff, nurses, and care personnel, and your task is to enhance quality of life. You see each individual and have the ability to understand what each person needs.

As an occupational therapist, you will work with residents to find the best ways to utilize their own abilities in daily life. You support and motivate individuals to develop and maintain their physical, cognitive, and social skills. This often involves:

  • assessing and adapting the daily environment.

  • selecting and prescribing physical and cognitive aids.

  • guiding your colleagues in rehabilitative interventions, approaches, transfer techniques, etc.

  • communicating with the residents' relatives.

About the role

As a physiotherapist, you will work with residents to find the best ways to utilize their own abilities in daily life. You support and motivate individuals to develop and maintain their mobility. This often involves:

  • assessing/treating residents' movement problems and disabilities.

  • selecting and prescribing medical aids.

  • working preventively by educating other staff about transfer techniques to avoid strain injuries.

Your experience and knowledge

We believe that you who are applying to us:

You are a licensed occupational therapist or licensed physiotherapist, and we prefer that you have several years of experience in elderly care. You have good computer skills and experience in documentation. Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing is a requirement.

Other

Employment rate: full-time, 40h/week. No weekends, Monday - Friday. Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Start date: By agreement. Application deadline: 260330.
