Our Operations

Gustavsgården is a residence for the elderly with significant care needs.

The residence consists of three units with a total of 101 apartments. Each resident has a contact person in the staff group who can assist the resident in various respects. With us, you will work with something of the most valuable there is, making everyday life better for our elderly citizens. You will join an operation based on respect for people's self-determination and integrity, and help our residents achieve freedom in their daily lives. We operate based on a value foundation where presence is important, and we see and listen to the people we meet.

Your Mission

The role of the activity coordinator at Gustavsgården means that you plan and carry out eventful elements in the daily life together with our residents. The activities should be tailored to the needs and wishes of the residents, which is why we see that you, as an applicant, are creative and innovative. The activities should also be adapted to the seasons and holidays.

Your Experience

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant with professional experience working in special housing and who is trained as an activity pedagogue or has a similar education that the employer considers equivalent. As a person, you find it easy to collaborate with other professional categories where you see opportunities to provide our residents with a high quality of life.

You need to be able to speak and write good Swedish, as communication is an important need for our residents. We also collaborate with the Association Guldkanten, which organizes, for example, musical entertainment where you will become an important partner. The position includes documenting tasks in our journal system.

The employment is full-time and may involve work during evenings and weekends. For this position, an extract from the criminal record will be the basis for employment.
