Bällstahof is a modern nursing home located in the heart of Sundbyberg, close to both transportation, walking paths, shops, and restaurants. At Bällstahof, there are 48 apartments of varying sizes spread over three floors divided into 6 wings. Each wing has 8 apartments. There is a focus on dementia and somatic care. On the first floor, there is a large and inviting terrace on the sunny side for outdoor activities, recreation, and events.

As an activity leader, you will develop, be responsible for, and conduct activities for care recipients at Bällstahof, based on the wishes of the care recipients, with the aim of creating a meaningful and enriching everyday life. At Bällstahof, we work in a cross-professional team. The motto of the Elderly Care Administration: "Human encounters - we care!" permeates the operation, and all meetings should be characterized by warmth, attentiveness, respect, and commitment. There is ongoing development work within the sector's operations. The sector's own operations have been quality certified according to ISO 9001 since 2012. With our care recipients at the center, planning, implementation, follow-up, and continuous improvement are a natural part of the work. As an activity leader, you contribute and actively participate in quality work.

Your tasks include planning and conducting activities for care recipients both individually and in groups, independently and together with other staff groups. You will also mentor care staff to inspire them to increase the participation of care recipients in everyday life.

We want you to be genuinely interested in people, creative, and inspiring. Music, movement, culture, and health are areas you want to engage others in. We welcome applicants with experience in elderly care, but it is not a requirement if you have other merits that may fit the operation.

  • Technically interested. This includes being able to manage our Play-ip screens, iPads, and assist residents with digital issues.
  • Good knowledge of the Swedish language (written and spoken).
  • Good computer skills with knowledge of Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of documentation.

The position is a permanent employment, 100%. A probationary period may apply. Some work in the evening or on weekends may occur depending on the planned activities.

Before employment, the employer will request you to show an extract from the police criminal record.

Start date according to agreement. Apply by March 1, 2026.
