Do you have ideas for the future and are you driven by challenges? In Haninge, you will develop alongside supportive colleagues who want to make a difference today. Right now, one of the most ambitious change efforts in our municipality's history is underway. We are building a new city, about 20 minutes from Söder. Join us on our journey.

In our adaptation for the future social services, we are currently working in a secondary line of social services with a focus on children.

In the operation, we meet children who need coordinated and extensive interventions that are preceded by applications and investigations – assistance decisions. In our work, we will focus on a target group approach in which we investigate and coordinate interventions based on evidence and knowledge-based methods in collaboration with other community actors.

The operation consists of groups within child and youth investigations, special interventions, foster care/contact activities, and administrative support functions. Each group is led by a unit manager and the operation as a whole is managed by an operations manager. Within foster care, there are two group leaders who support and lead the work closely.

The main responsibility of foster care is for the children and youth who are placed in foster homes by Haninge municipality. The goal of the operation is to ensure that the children/youth have the conditions for favorable development. To enable this, we work in teams with the children's best interests in focus and based on TMO, trauma-informed care.

Your competence

As a social worker with us, it is essential that you enjoy collaborating with others but can also work independently. You easily build good relationships, are attentive and clear in your communication. You have good knowledge of child development and keep up with current research. You need to have the ability to limit your assignment and work calmly and methodically when those around you are stressed. We are looking for someone who can see the opportunities in complex social work, collaborates easily, is flexible, curious, and has the children's best interests at heart.
