Our Job Offer
We currently have a longer temporary position available as one of our employees will be on parental leave.
We are looking for someone interested in driving and developing the operations within the Orthopedics area. You will work in both inpatient and outpatient care. In this role, you will work independently with the assessment and treatment of orthopedic patients.
In inpatient care, you will meet patients after acute injuries as well as patients who have undergone elective surgery. You will collaborate closely with the entire team on the ward; doctors, occupational therapists, nurses, and nursing assistants. You will also work closely with experienced physiotherapists. The inpatient care is located in state-of-the-art facilities in the hospital's brand-new building.
In outpatient care, you will meet patients who have undergone surgery after an acute injury or patients who have undergone elective surgery. Outpatient patients will either come to the Orthopedic Clinic or to our Physiotherapy Clinic. Many of our patients have undergone some form of shoulder surgery.
We are constantly working to develop both our profession and our working methods at the hospital, and we are therefore looking for someone who wants to be part of this important work.
You will receive a long introduction and you will have many wonderful and competent colleagues to ask for advice. We also have several specialists in Orthopedic Physiotherapy who help us work systematically with improvement efforts.
With us, there are good opportunities to develop as a physiotherapist!
Danderyd Hospital is a hospital in expansion and has good access to public transport such as the subway and bus connections. Being employed at Danderyd Hospital means you will receive compensation for healthcare, a wellness allowance of 5000 SEK per year, and access to the well-equipped staff gym, Lyftet, for only 800 SEK per year. You will also be offered staff parking at a favorable price.
Job Description
The tasks consist of assessing and treating patients within Orthopedics inpatient and outpatient care. Some weekend work is included. We offer a longer temporary position until 2027-08-31.
Qualifications
Licensed physiotherapist with a Swedish license issued by the National Board of Health and Welfare.
Teaching qualification is an advantage.
Previous work experience, especially in outpatient orthopedics, is also an advantage, but we welcome you to apply if you are new to the profession and eager to start working in your new career.
Personal Qualities
We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a creative environment where your assessment is important for the patient. You need to be confident in making independent assessments.
We place great emphasis on qualities such as good collaboration skills, flexibility, and the ability to work at a high pace during certain periods. You have the ability to take your own initiatives, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. You want to contribute to a workplace where we include, inspire, and appreciate each other while developing the operations together. You are interested in learning new things and sharing knowledge and experience with others. Personal suitability is highly valued.
With us, you will come to a workplace with a wonderful team spirit!
Application
Interviews will be conducted continuously during the application period, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
We warmly welcome your application today!
About the Operations
At the Physiotherapy Department of Danderyd Hospital, about 40 physiotherapists work across two units - the Orthopedic and Rheumatology Unit and the Respiratory and Circulatory Unit.
Organizationally, you belong to the Paramedical Section, which consists of about 80 employees distributed across five different units within Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Nutrition, and Social Work. Here, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, and social workers work within most of the hospital's areas of operation, with both inpatient and outpatient care. The unit has a broad competence within each professional group and colleagues who are eager to share their knowledge and experience.
When recruiting employees for operations that may involve handling children and/or adolescents up to 18 years of age, we obtain extracts from the criminal record and suspicion register before potential employment.
