Your Role

Are you a driven project manager with a strong interest in customer order projects and product development? Then you could be our new colleague in project management of fiber optic gyros. The demand for our products is rapidly increasing among our customers, who are largely international companies in the defense industry and civil aviation, and we are looking for someone who wants to drive our projects with the goal of keeping people and communities safe.

Our project managers play a central role in the organization to ensure project results and deliveries to customers and are responsible for the interface with our external customers.

Your responsibilities include:

• Coordinating communication with our external and internal customers.
• Coordinating RD&E activities within our product development.
• Creating and following up on timelines, milestones, and dependencies. Creating conditions for good collaboration within the project. Recognizing and celebrating successes.
• Working closely with stakeholders. Being active in removing any obstacles to create conditions for efficient work.
• Reporting status, risks, and deviations to the steering group.
• Leading and creating engagement and ensuring that deliveries occur within specified cost and time frames.
• Administrative tasks, such as reporting and follow-up in Antura.

Our projects are driven cross-functionally with representatives from the entire organization, and you will collaborate with several internal contacts, such as internal customers, line managers, design responsible, and project managers.

In the role of project manager, leadership ability is crucial, and we believe you are communicative, cooperative, and see the people behind the roles. At the same time, you have the ability to keep both technical details and project goals in focus and are good at creating structure. We believe you thrive with having overall responsibility for projects, where everything from concept to series delivery is included.

We believe that strong teams are created by leveraging each other's differences. Therefore, great emphasis will be placed on your personal qualities and abilities to complement the group in the best possible way.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience in technical project management and customer order projects.
• Technical understanding
• Relevant university or college education or equivalent work experience.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may entail requirements for certain citizenship.
