The Elderly Sector in Kil Municipality is responsible for elderly care. The sector is also responsible for the execution of all municipal health and medical care, rehabilitation, memory teams, day activities, and support for relatives.

Description

We are now looking for a summer substitute for our team for authority exercise regarding the Social Services Act.

In Kil, assistance officers work focused on elderly care, social psychiatry, and LSS. We are now looking for you who want to work with elderly care.

As an assistance officer, you belong to the Health, Care, and Services unit together with municipal rehabilitation, nurses, memory teams, coordinators for relatives, and fee officers. We who work in Kil have the privilege of working in a small municipality with good commuting opportunities by both train and bus. We have close contact between different professions and easy collaboration. Within HVI, we often work together around the customer. In Kil, we work according to Lean, which means continuous work to improve and work on the right things.

Job Responsibilities

To investigate, decide, and follow up according to current legal provisions. The work involves working independently but also collaborating in cross-professional teams, where collaboration takes place both internally and externally. We have a customer focus in our work and apply IBIC (Individual Needs in Center) with a health-promoting approach "A good life in Kil - what is important to you?".

The work is varied and requires flexibility. We help each other collegially and seek support from our knowledgeable social responsible coordinator when desired. Documentation is done in the operational system Lifecare.

Qualifications

Degree in social work or social care program.

We see that you have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing. We place great importance on experience and personal suitability.
