JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a social worker at the Common Reception, you will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally with both children and adults, thus developing your skills. You will be an important link in meeting residents with broad knowledge and an empathetic approach. We focus on individuals' and families' strengths while being transparent about the concerns that exist. You are a crucial link in addressing the whole individual's needs and working to create a social service that is there for everyone.

At the Common Reception, we work based on a vision where the individual is in focus and a social service that is perceived as coordinated and easily accessible.

As a social worker at the Common Reception, you will receive incoming applications, reports, and advice and support conversations for the administration's work and welfare. You will also provide information about the social service's work both externally and internally. Social workers conduct risk assessments, preliminary assessments, and then decide whether to initiate an investigation or not. Social workers in the unit also work to collect documents for new applications for financial assistance and make assessments for individuals who turn to the municipality seeking urgent assistance.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work and at least one year of experience working in social services with authority over children. Previous experience in a reception function, work in financial assistance, or authority over adults is advantageous.

As a person, you thrive on receiving and working with urgent and varied cases and can easily adapt when the situation requires it. You have a good ability to collaborate with both internal and external partners, and you always maintain a client focus in your work.

We are looking for someone with a solution-oriented approach and who is a natural team player. You are a responsible, structured, and analytical person with a good ability to plan and prioritize your own work. A respectful approach with an empathetic attitude when meeting people in difficult situations is a given for you. Personal qualities are highly valued, and we strive for a well-composed workgroup based on the needs of the organization.

Requirements for the position:

• Degree in social work
• Driver's license (B)
• Knowledge of applicable social legislation
