JOB DESCRIPTION

Region Kronoberg and all municipalities in the county have established integrated addiction and dependency clinics in Växjö and Ljungby. The clinics cater to individuals aged 15 and older with defined addiction and dependency issues related to alcohol, narcotics, medications, or doping, as well as individuals with comorbidity, aiming to provide the best possible care based on their specific needs, regardless of where they live in the county. Employees from social services' outpatient care, Region Kronoberg's psychiatry, and primary care work under the same roof for the benefit of the patient and client.

Target group: Individuals over 15 years old with defined addiction and dependency issues regarding alcohol, narcotics, medications, or other addictive substances, as well as gambling. The target group also includes individuals with comorbidity and their relatives.

As a therapist, you will primarily work with individual counseling, meeting individuals with addiction and dependency issues. In addition to treatment conversations focusing on dependency issues, the role also includes providing support to relatives of the target group. You are responsible for designing and implementing treatment work in a structured manner for individuals with addiction and their relatives.

We offer, among other things, professional development and continuous external supervision for our employees. Establishing implementation plans and documentation is part of the job responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with an academic degree in social work. It is an advantage if you have basic psychotherapy training. You have experience in addiction and treatment work and possess a good ability to meet people in vulnerable situations.

In your role, you need to have good collaboration skills as well as the ability to work independently and in a structured manner. The job also requires flexibility and the ability to handle unforeseen situations. As a person, you are calm, stable, and trustworthy with the ability to create and maintain good relationships.

Attention to detail in handling cases and a good approach with the aim of strengthening the individual's own ability are also important qualities. You enjoy challenges and are stimulated by flexible tasks. You have a good ability to work both independently and in a team.

A valid driver's license (B) is a requirement.
