About the position
We at Olivia are looking for someone who wants to work as a personal assistant for our client in Växjö. We are looking for someone interested in working extra as needed. Start date is according to agreement, and we would like to see you begin training immediately.
Working hours are varied on weekdays and weekends:
12:00 PM - 6:00 PM Weekdays
6:00 PM - 10:00 PM Weekdays
10:00 PM - 7:45 AM Weekday awake night
8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Weekend
4:00 PM - 10:00 PM Weekend
10:00 PM - 7:45 AM Weekend awake night
About the client
We are now looking for an engaged and responsible personal assistant for a man in his 20s with cerebral palsy. He needs support in most aspects of his daily life, and as an assistant, you are an important support in creating safety, structure, and quality of life.
Some mornings during the week, he participates in daily activities, where you as an assistant do not accompany him. The rest of the time, you work together with him at home and during various activities.
He enjoys spending time with his family, engaging in activities, exercising, and swimming in the pool. The job involves both practical support and being a social companion in daily life.
In the home, there are aids such as a shower chair, electric wheelchair, and lift, which facilitate the work.
The tasks are as follows:
Support with daily routines and household chores
Assisting with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, and during meals
Accompanying on daily activities
Are you the one we are looking for?
We are looking for someone who is calm, secure, and responsible and has a genuine interest in working with people. You are flexible and responsive to the individual's needs and can adapt to different situations in daily life. Experience as a personal assistant is an advantage, but we place the greatest emphasis on personal suitability.
Requirements:
Not allergic to pets, there are cats in the home
Non-smoker
Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, to document correctly
Must be able to tolerate chlorine and be a competent swimmer
Merits:
Professional experience as a personal assistant or in healthcare and social services
Employment rate: 1 substitute as needed
Start date: Interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations in accordance with collective agreements.

Things to consider before your application:
A prerequisite for starting employment at Olivia is that you can present valid ID and submit a personal certificate as well as any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. You can easily download a personal certificate from the Swedish Tax Agency's website.
Due to the fact that the position may involve solo work, night work, and tasks that according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2012:3) cannot be performed by minors, you must be at least 18 years old.
