Key Role in Public Procurement

You will take on a key role in an engaged organization that works systematically and with quality assurance in public procurement, and you will also have the opportunity to influence and develop the procurement process for the entire municipality of Östersund.

Your New Job

In your work, you will be the contact person for the regional procurement office and assist in bringing in experts for these procurements. You will coordinate all procurements carried out by the administrations, act as an advisor, and assist the administrations in their procurements. You will lead procurement forums and write procedures and guidelines regarding procurement. To some extent, you will also carry out your own procurements. It is important that you have a strong character and can be the critical point in the procurements that the administrations conduct.

• Write guidelines regarding procurement.
• Advise and assist the administrations in their procurements.

Your Competence

Requirements

• We are looking for someone with a university degree or YH education in purchasing, economics, law, or alternatively other education combined with the experience we require.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, with strong oral and written communication skills.
• A valid driver's license is required as the position covers the entire region and travel is a natural part of the job.

Meritorious

• Experience in purchasing/procurement work.
• If you have good knowledge of the Public Procurement Act, that is also a merit.
• Experience with the procurement tool TendSign.
• Experience working consultatively and in project form.
