Marketing Automation Specialist at SkiStar

Are you passionate about developing automated, data-driven communication for SkiStar's customers? We are now looking for an experienced Marketing Automation Specialist to join the CRM team and continue to build SkiStar's business and enhance the customer experience. The position is a temporary contract for one year with the possibility of extension.

Overview of the position

As a Marketing Automation Specialist at SkiStar, you will be responsible for setting up customer data-driven, automated campaigns and newsletters to attract new customers, increase conversion, and develop customer relationships throughout the customer lifecycle. To thrive in this role, we believe that you have a passion for and experience in MarTech, where customer behavior and data are the core of automatic communication in digital channels.

You have an understanding of customer journeys in the digital landscape and a desire to personalize communication. You are accustomed to planning, operationally setting up, and analyzing automated customer flows. You are a key person who, with your drive and expertise, works closely with the CRM team but also sales, marketing, and IT, while also having the ability to work independently.

With a focus on the customer, your tasks will vary based on the main areas:

Strategically and operationally build automatic flows and create effective personalized communication
Analyze and optimize communication based on established KPIs such as repeat purchase rate
Develop actionable KPIs and be responsible for follow-up
Work on testing
Together with analysts and the CRM manager, develop the use of customer, profile, and segmentation data
Be responsible for and develop our Marketing Automation solution within the organization

As a person, you are highly analytical with a strong strategic ability and business acumen. You are used to acting on customer insights and know how technology works to quickly improve the customer experience. You enjoy driving complex projects and have a positive and unpretentious approach.

We are looking for someone with good technical experience and extensive experience in handling customer data. You have relevant education and several years of experience in the field. We also see that you have several years of experience in similar roles in other companies. Good knowledge of Swedish or Norwegian is a requirement as it is essential in this role.

In your toolbox, you have knowledge of SQL, HTML, and Javascript. You have a very good ability to work with analysis in several tools such as GA4 and Power BI (or similar BI solutions). You currently work operationally in MA/CRM systems.

Prerequisites

Degree in marketing, business administration, IT, or similar.
Minimum of 3 years of work experience in CRM/MA and analysis – preferably in an experience industry.

The position is a temporary contract for one year starting as soon as possible or by agreement.
