Krokom Municipality is in an intensive development phase and needs to strengthen its team with an additional procurement officer.

A day as a procurement officer in Krokom Municipality

As a procurement officer with us, you will plan, lead projects, and conduct procurements of goods and services with varying complexity and scope according to the Public Procurement Act, focusing on business efficiency and cost-effectiveness. You will be responsible for the entire procurement process from needs and market research to contract design and document management.

You will conduct renewed competitive bidding and direct procurements and work to achieve the politically set goals through requirements in the procurements.

You will also step into the process of our strategic development work regarding purchasing organization and category management, and together with your colleagues continue to develop working methods, templates, and routines within procurement and purchasing.

An important task in the job is to support the municipality's administrations and experts in procurement-related questions.

You will work with contract management and all other tasks that arise as a strategic procurement officer. You will primarily work together with our existing strategic procurement officer and our contract controller, but also independently with suppliers and the municipality's various operations.

Your qualifications

Requirements:

-Relevant academic degree in, for example, economics, law, or equivalent experience deemed relevant by the employer.

-Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

-Good experience working with the Office suite.

Meritorious:

-Documented experience in procurement of goods and services.

-Good knowledge of the Public Procurement Act.

-Experience in construction procurement.

-Experience in purchasing organization and category management.

-Experience with the procurement tool e-Avrop.

Other information

The position is a two-year project employment on a full-time basis, with the possibility of continued employment. Start date as soon as possible, or by agreement.
