In the autumn of 2026, Haninge municipality will open a brand new resource school – and we are now looking for a school nurse who wants to be part of building a school where students with extensive support needs have the best possible conditions to succeed. The school is centrally located in Handen, near the commuter train station. The new resource school will replace previous learning studios, with the goal of gathering expertise and resources under one roof to create a more cohesive and powerful operation.

Your mission

Your mission as a school nurse is to work together with other professionals within student health to create the best possible conditions for students' health, development, and learning. You are an integral part of the effort to reach every student and collaborate with others at the school. You also take the initiative to contact both students and guardians.

You will meet students individually for health conversations and health examinations according to our basic program, follow and collaborate with relevant contacts inside and outside the school to support the student's learning, and contribute your medical perspective. Furthermore, you will collaborate with the school doctor throughout the school year and organize the work of receiving visits from students and guardians. You will document in the journal system Prorenata.

Previous experience working as a school nurse and with children and adolescents with significant support needs is an advantage.

You are a qualified nurse with a requirement for further education as follows:

• District nurse
• Child and adolescent specialist
• School nurse through training in Skövde
