Baker for Ellery Beach House – Join us in making history in our wood-fired oven

Ellery Beach House is a unique hotel and destination at Elfviks Udde, where the sea meets design, music, art, and social gatherings in a playful mix inspired by the 60s and 70s. Here, we create experiences that linger in both memory and taste – with a strong focus on quality, feeling, and craftsmanship.

We are now taking the next step in our culinary journey and are looking for a baker for a completely new role with us. This is not a job where everything is already set – on the contrary. With us, you will help build the position from the ground up, establish routines, test ideas, and create something entirely your own. You will work independently as our baker, so we are looking for someone who loves responsibility, freedom, and creative space.

With us, you will bake fresh rolls in the wood-fired oven for breakfast, delightful buns and pastries, as well as bread for evening service in our two restaurants. You will work in an inspiring environment with a wood-fired pizza oven and charcoal grill, close to the guests and right in the pulse of the action.

About the role

• Independent responsibility for our bakery operations

• Baking breakfast bread in the wood oven

• Production of buns and pastries

• Bread for evening service for our two restaurants

• Help build work methods, routines, and product range from scratch

• Work closely with guests in a social and vibrant environment

We are looking for someone who

• Has at least 5 years of experience as a baker

• Has a driver's license and access to a car

• Is innovative and full of ideas, motivated by creating new things

• Is cheerful, lively, and social

• Enjoys working among guests and taking personal responsibility

• Sees opportunities and solutions instead of obstacles

• Likes the idea of making history and building something from the ground up

The position

• Working hours: approx. 03:00 – 11:30

• Weekdays and weekends

• Collective agreement applies

• Start date: Early April
