Capio Geriatrik Dalen is a facility within geriatric care where we work every day to meet the needs of an aging population. We offer high-quality care with the patient at the center and are now looking for a dietitian for the summer period.

With us, you will have a varied and meaningful job where you meet patients directly on our medical wards. You will be responsible for nutritional assessments and individually tailored dietary treatment for our elderly patients, following them throughout their hospital stay based on their needs and conditions. You will also handle the prescription of county council subsidies and assessments regarding enteral and parenteral nutrition.

This may involve preventing and treating malnutrition, adjusting diets for various medical conditions, and monitoring energy and nutrient intake. If necessary, you will collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure that the patient receives the right follow-up after discharge. An important part of the role is also to support other healthcare staff.

This position will be filled at the end of May/beginning of June 2026 or by agreement. Interviews and hiring may occur before the application deadline.

You are a licensed dietitian. You are flexible and have the ability to create good relationships with both our patients and their relatives as well as your colleagues. The patient is the focus, and the goal is for patients to feel satisfied. Experience is good, but the most important thing for us is that you are the right person who fits into our workgroup. It is beneficial to have experience in inpatient care.
