Your Mission

Your mission as a nursing assistant in the emergency reception is to receive patients who come to the reception together with the on-duty nurse and perform standard tasks in an emergency reception, such as assisting with suturing and examinations. You will also be responsible for sample collection such as EKG, bladder scan, blood tests, and more. We use the Cosmic journal system in all units within Close Care and Health, and the laboratory uses Flexlab.

Your Competence

We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant with proof of protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare. Experience in emergency care is an advantage. You need to have good experience with the Cosmic journal system and sample collection.

As a person, you are service-oriented, have a good demeanor, and are empathetic. You are used to a fast pace and enjoy taking responsibility. For this position, it is also important to be flexible and have good collaboration skills as our patient cases are very varied, and we are a small workgroup. We also see that you have an easy time following instructions and routines. Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities.

Our Operations

The Östhammar emergency reception is located in the coastal town of Östhammar. Here, there are about a thousand islands and a rich cultural landscape with several well-preserved Vallon works and manors. The emergency reception is located in the premises of Östhammar's health center. The emergency reception operates 24/7 at the primary care level and has a close collaboration with the health center during the day.
