Our Operations

We are located just a few minutes' walk from the Central Station in Uppsala. Here we receive patients who are operated on in our surgical department, and the lengths of stay vary from a couple of hours to two days.

You will meet patients with varying surgical diagnoses. The operation consists of four operating rooms, admissions, a postoperative department, and a care unit with six beds. We are a positive group that works closely together to continuously develop care and provide a professional approach to our patients.

Your Mission

We offer you a stimulating work environment with varied planned surgery and great opportunities to develop as a nurse. With us, you will receive personal training tailored to your previous experiences.

You will become part of a skilled team that supports and helps each other while you will also work independently. Your tasks will vary between admissions, recovery, care unit, and surgery.

You will rotate between the ward and surgery. Here you will work comfortable hours Monday to Friday with 1-2 evenings a week.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse or anesthesia nurse. You thrive in teamwork, are flexible, take responsibility for your tasks, and ensure to drive the work forward with the patient in focus.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

We offer a permanent position within the department of anesthesia, surgery, and intensive care (AnOpIVA) with a base placement at Samariterhemmet. A probationary period may apply.
