Östra Ögon is a small private eye clinic that has been in operation since 2000. We provide ophthalmic care on behalf of Region Uppsala. Our team consists of two ophthalmologists, one ophthalmic nurse, two medical secretaries, and one receptionist.

What do we do at our clinic?

We provide medical eye specialist care and also perform pressure-lowering laser treatments and treat posterior capsule opacification. We also conduct diabetes photo screening.

The work is largely independent and mainly consists of visual field tests, diabetes photo screening with assessment, and telephone consultations. Occasionally, we also conduct preparatory examinations before doctor visits.

We are looking for you who are an ophthalmic nurse, licensed nurse, or licensed optometrist with experience working in an eye clinic. We use Cosmic for documentation.

We offer a full-time position, daytime Monday to Friday, starting in August 2026.
