About the position

We at Perido are now looking for an archivist for our client, a member-driven government agency that works for a better labor market in Sweden. The position is located at the agency's office in Stockholm.

Your responsibilities

The assignment includes tasks within both registration and archives. The registration work is estimated to constitute about 20–30 percent of the assignment's scope. The remaining time is related to archival work, which also includes investigative elements, such as disposal investigations. You will work closely with the organization and contribute both operational support and specialist expertise in information and archive management.

Your qualities

To succeed in the role, we believe you are structured, meticulous, and have a genuine interest in order and quality in information management. You work independently, take responsibility for your tasks, and find it easy to prioritize in your daily work. At the same time, you are service-oriented, pedagogical, and enjoy supporting colleagues with questions regarding archives and registration. You have an analytical approach, are confident in your professional role, and contribute both professionalism and a willingness to collaborate.

Qualifications:

• University degree in archival science or equivalent knowledge acquired through
• extensive work experience as an archivist
• At least three years of work experience in registration and archival work, including
• archive care, disclosure of public documents, disposal, and digital archive management. At least
• one year of experience in these tasks from public operations
• Experience and interest in providing service to employees
• Knowledge and experience in one of the market's larger diary systems.

Meritorious:

• Familiarity with laws and regulations governing public operations and the role and responsibilities of archivists
• Several years of experience working with information security, good knowledge of GDPR
• Several years of experience with disposal investigations
• Several years of experience in how work is conducted in e-archives

Scope and start date

Full-time, consulting assignment for 9 months, with the possibility of extension. Start at the end of April.
