Do you want to help shape the future of digital learning?
We are looking for someone with both the competence and commitment to further develop the ICT function at the university.
The role involves inspiring, supporting, and developing the use of digital tools in teaching and administrative work.
As an ICT educator, you will be part of the Campus and IT Operations unit, which consists of a unit manager and nine employees. The unit is part of the Department of Operational Support.
Your Responsibilities
As an ICT educator, you will work to support and develop the use of the university's digital learning environments, such as Canvas, Inspera, Kaltura, Turnitin, and M365.
Your role includes:
- guiding and training teachers in the use of digital learning environments
- contributing to the planning and development of teaching where digital tools are an integrated part
- creating manuals and guidelines for digital tools
- supporting teachers in recording educational materials in the university's recording studio
The work is outward-facing and takes place in close collaboration with other functions within the university. You will follow developments in the field and contribute, together with other competencies at the institution, to the continued development of ICT in education.
Your role also includes, both independently and together with others, identifying needs in the organization, recognizing development opportunities, and initiating, organizing, and driving development initiatives that contribute to improved operations.
Qualifications and Assessment Criteria
We are looking for someone who:
- has post-secondary education in ICT, pedagogy, or another field deemed equivalent by the employer
- has experience working as an ICT educator or in a similar role
- has a good understanding of how digital tools can support teaching and learning
- has experience working with learning platforms and digital teaching tools
- expresses themselves well in Swedish and English
It is an advantage if you have experience in:
- working with ICT in the university and higher education sector
- training in ICT or related fields
- pedagogical development work or project management
- video recording and production of digital teaching materials
