We are looking for a nurse who is interested in a varied and rewarding job in a wonderful and positive work team.

We are looking for someone who wants the entire Norrtälje municipality as their workplace, desires variation in their daily life, and wants to make a difference for our elderly within Tiohundra's SÄBO.

About the position

As a mobile nurse, you will work at the SÄBO in the municipality that has the greatest need for your efforts. This can be for individual days or for a longer continuous period when the responsible nurse is absent. You will also support other nurses with individual interventions.

You will collaborate with care actors both internally and externally. Since you work across several units within the municipality, you will receive travel compensation when you drive your own car. The work is mainly scheduled during the day, but evening shifts and duty every third weekend are also included. It is highly appreciated if you are flexible and can change shifts if needed.

Your responsibilities include:

• Medication management.
• Rounds with doctors.
• Responsible for care during the absence of the regular nurse and support other nurses with specific interventions.
• Work independently and in a team to identify and prevent risks in care and map residents' care needs.
• Document in Take Care and work with several quality registers.
• Educate and supervise staff pedagogically in nursing.
• Collaborate with other professionals such as nursing and rehabilitation staff.

About you

You are proactive and flexible and have a good ability to collaborate with others in the teams, which makes you thrive in a position where you can step in for other nurses. Furthermore, you are self-sufficient and feel confident in making medical assessments. You have a pedagogical inclination, which makes you appreciate your role in educating and supervising staff in nursing work.

For this position, you need:

• To be a licensed nurse.
• Several years of experience working as a nurse.
• Good or very good Swedish in both speech and writing.
• A valid driver's license, driving experience, and access to your own car.

It is advantageous if you also have:

• Specialist nurse education with a focus on elderly care or palliative care.

About us

Tiohundra has nine nursing homes in the municipality, two in Norrtälje, Hallstavik, and Rimbo, one in Älmsta, Bergshamra, and Blidö. We have about 25 regular nurses working around the clock. We are missing one of two mobile nurses in the pool we use to help fill gaps when others are on training, vacation, or absent for other reasons.
