We are currently looking for you who want to be part of our wonderful team this summer and who want to work as a personal assistant for our female client in Askersund.What does this job entail?

With this client, you will be a supportive and helping hand. You motivate and accompany the client in their daily life and participate in daily activities while providing support at home in the apartment.

The client is a person who enjoys music and animals, she does not have verbal language but communicates with sign language and pictures; experience in this is an advantage. The client needs help with everything in daily life such as laundry, cleaning, cooking, and hygiene tasks.

The client has autism and relies on routines and clarity in daily life; in this job, you may encounter unusual situations, and it is important that you as an assistant are confident in yourself. The staff group works based on a low-arousal approach where daily routines are of great importance.

We believe that you who apply have great patience and a good ability to read other people and stay one step ahead. We will place extra emphasis on your communicative competence and understanding of other people.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is engaged, respectful, and attentive. We prefer that you have great patience and the ability to be personal while acting professionally.

We would like you to:

have a genuine interest in helping others.
be able to understand and make yourself understood in Swedish.
be able to work day and night shifts with on-call duty in the client's home.
have experience in care and support. (This is a plus, but not a requirement).
have experience with sign and/or picture support.
have experience with low-arousal work.

Additional information

Employment type: Summer temporary position and hours as needed

Scope: approx. 50-80%

Working hours: 15:00-15:00

Start date: by agreement

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Before a possible employment, you must be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EES or a valid work permit.
