Do you want to work in a technically advanced environment where long-term thinking, quality, and structure are crucial? We are now looking for an Obsolescence Coordinator who wants to take a central role in ensuring the availability and lifecycle management of components and products over time.
In the role of Obsolescence Coordinator, you will be responsible for driving and coordinating efforts around phased-out and at-risk components. You will work closely with purchasing, engineering, logistics, and other stakeholders to identify risks, propose actions, and ensure sustainable solutions throughout the product lifecycle.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for preparing and eventually leading decision forums and coordinating actions such as last purchases, qualification of alternative components, or redesign. You will support the classification of items and follow up on the status of critical components, while also conducting “where-used” analyses and gathering relevant information related to items and components.
You will also register and coordinate obsolescence cases and produce and present summaries and overall status reports. Additionally, you will contribute to continuous improvements within Obsolescence Management and support change management through training and knowledge sharing with relevant stakeholders and colleagues.
The role is based in Lund.
