Summer Substitute Home Care Coordinators Wanted

With us, you will play an important role in creating security, quality, and continuity for our users, while also becoming part of a dedicated and supportive team.

We are located throughout Malmö, and our units are Arenan, Bulltofta, Kalkbrottet, Katrinetorp, and Kungsparken. The units consist of sections that work towards different parts of the area. Job Responsibilities

As a home care coordinator, you have an overall perspective and are responsible for the daily coordination within the home care area. You plan and coordinate the approved services for users in close collaboration with the home care group's nursing assistants and caregivers, as well as the section manager and other staff.

You are responsible for absence planning and short-term staffing and primarily work in the operational system Lifecare planning, where you ensure that the right resources are in place based on the needs of the operation. The role also includes receiving orders from the authority and handling ongoing administrative and operational tasks.

You have daily contact with our Malmö residents, their relatives, and internal and external partners. As a coordinator, you create schedules and contribute to a safe and well-functioning workday through a professional, respectful, and solution-focused approach towards both users and staff.

Qualifications

It is a requirement that you:

  • Have a completed high school education
  • Have worked in an administrative or coordinating role
  • Have experience in care work
  • Have good digital skills
  • Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you:

  • Have a high school education with a focus on health and care
  • Have worked with administration in healthcare
  • Have knowledge of the Lifecare planning system

As a home care coordinator, you are part of a larger context together with other professional groups, both externally and internally. Therefore, you need to be communicative and have good collaboration skills. You have the interest, willingness, and ability to help others and work actively to find effective solutions.

You are expected to be able to structure your work well, as the role involves handling several parallel tasks. To succeed in the assignment, you need to remain calm and work efficiently even when the pace is high, adapt to changing conditions, and have a solution-focused approach.

Criminal Record Extract

When you apply for a job with us, we will ask you to present an extract from the police's criminal record. You need to request an extract from the criminal record yourself, which you can do digitally or via a form found on the police's website: Check your own information, e-service | Police Authority

Once you have received your extract, you will then present it to the recruiting manager if you are called for an interview. Please note that the normal processing time at the police is about two weeks, so please order the extract when you apply for the position.
