Vårdcentralen Norra Fäladen is in strong development, where we improve our operations through a clear focus on education and a well-structured approach to best meet our patients' needs. Currently, we have about 10,800 registered patients. The healthcare center operates within the framework of the health choice and is accredited for child healthcare.

We are about 45 employees, and our team consists of specialists in general medicine, ST doctors, AT doctors, district nurses, nurses, medical secretaries, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and psychologists. The operations include, among other things, an Asthma-COPD clinic. A dietitian is connected to us remotely.

In our premises, we have a specialist clinic for diabetes and an elderly care clinic. We are also responsible for two nursing homes, Norrdala and Reimersdal, and are part of Lund's first family center.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an engaged diabetes nurse to join our nursing team at the healthcare center. The work includes follow-up of diabetes patients as well as usual nursing tasks in primary care, such as counseling, triage, and outpatient work.

In this role, you will work with the diabetes clinic and have the opportunity to influence both the content of your work and the work environment. You will be offered your own areas of responsibility and opportunities for further education. Introduction will take place under the guidance of an experienced colleague.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed nurse with permission to practice within Swedish healthcare. Additionally, you have further education as a diabetes nurse of at least 15 higher education credits (hp). Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are a requirement. Furthermore, it is advantageous if you have work experience from primary care and/or experience working with the PMO journal system.
