JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to work health-promoting and preventive with children and students and contribute to their learning, development, and well-being? Do you thrive in a role where medical competence is combined with student-centered work, collaboration, and professional judgment? As a school nurse in the education administration, you have a mission where students' health is a prerequisite for both learning and goal fulfillment. You work with a clear preventive perspective and are an important part of the school's overall student health work, where the focus is on creating good conditions for each student's development.

Your tasks include, among others:

• Conducting health visits and health conversations
• Monitoring students' health development
• Implementing vaccination programs
• Being an accessible and safe contact for students and guardians

One of the positions is located within adapted primary school, where the work requires a good understanding of the target group's needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is confident in their professional role and has a genuine interest in children's and students' health and development. You have the ability to work independently while enjoying teamwork and collaboration with other professionals. As a person, you are attentive, communicative, and have a professional approach in your interactions with students, guardians, and colleagues. You see the connection between health and learning and want to contribute to the school's mission through your health-promoting work.

Requirements:

• Must be a licensed nurse
• Have specialist training in open health and medical care, school nurse, or pediatric nurse
• Have a B driver's license

Meritorious:

• Experience working as a school nurse or within school activities
• Experience working with the target group in adapted primary school
