Sjöbo Municipality is seeking new employees for several home care areas as well as the Night Patrol. The positions include both temporary and permanent employment with varying working hours.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nursing assistant in home care in Sjöbo Municipality, you will have a meaningful job where you support people in managing their daily lives and living as independently as possible. You work in the customers' own homes and meet people with different needs, life situations, and backgrounds.

Here, you will both work independently and be an important part of a supportive team that helps each other in daily work.

We work within different co-planning areas that allow us to assist each other across area boundaries when needed, contributing to both quality and safety for both staff and customers.

In home care, the tasks vary, but the most common ones are listed below;

• Personal care: assisting with hygiene, dressing and undressing, meals, and transfers.
• Medical interventions: administering medication and performing delegated tasks from a nurse, such as wound care.
• Practical tasks: cleaning, cooking, laundry, and other daily activities that facilitate the customer's day.
• Social support: creating security and comfort through conversations, walks, or other social activities.
• Documentation: following implementation plans, documenting interventions, and reviewing colleagues' notes to ensure good continuity.
• Collaboration: working closely with nurses, rehabilitation staff, and other professionals to ensure the customer receives the best possible care.

QUALIFICATIONS

Who are we looking for?

For both the central and external home care in Sjöbo Municipality, we are looking for you who want to make a difference, whether you are applying for a temporary or permanent position. You will be part of an engaged team that works every day to provide safe and professional care to our customers.

We are primarily looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant and have a genuine interest in people's well-being. It is desirable that you have your protected professional title, or at least have ordered it.

For permanent positions, you need:

• Driver's license B
• Nursing assistant education
• Be experienced in cycling, especially for work within Sjöbo 1/2 and Sjöbo 3/4

It is a merit if you have:

• Experience from home care
• Previous delegation of health and medical care tasks
