Workplace Description
As a micro assistant, you will work alongside the responsible physician in teaching practical clinical pathology, where microscopy instruction is an important part.
We are now seeking two microscopy assistants for a position of 8.3% for six months, with a desired start date of March 1, 2026. The workplace will be in group rooms at Forum Medicum or other facilities in the pathology department or lecture halls.

Job Responsibilities
As an assistant, your tasks may vary, but you must be studying at the faculty where the work will be conducted, and the tasks should provide insight into the academic world. In this position, you will help students interpret microscopy images to enhance their understanding of disease processes.
Working hours will be during the day.
Qualifications
Requirements for the position are:
- You are actively studying in the medical program at the Faculty of Medicine in Lund
- You have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- You have passed the pathology course
- Good collaboration skills
- Good communication skills
Meritorious for the position is:
- If you have been an assistant before
Other Information
The position is temporary at 20% for 2 months with a desired start date of December 1, 2025, or by agreement.
The position must not negatively affect the assistant's studies and cannot be combined with other employment. Regulations regarding educational employment as an assistant can be found in the Higher Education Ordinance (SFS 2017:284), Chapter 5, Sections 8-12.
The position is covered by the working time agreement for teachers.
