Here at Gottsunda Health Center, a UNIQUE opportunity is offered for you as a general practitioner to work with 1100 patients on your list!
How would you work if you had 1100 on your list? Now there is a unique opportunity to be part of the region's initiative where we are hiring more general practitioners for Gottsunda Health Center. From January 2026, Gottsunda Health Center will be one of Region Uppsala's four new pilot health centers that, with the help of government funds, aims to achieve the goal of 1100 registered patients per full-time employed general practitioner. This will provide opportunities to develop primary care's mission regarding both increased accessibility, continuity, and new working methods. Be part of it from the start!
We offer several permanent positions at 100%, part-time can always be discussed. Start date by agreement. A probationary period may apply.

Your Mission
Your tasks consist of outpatient work with varied duties as well as supervision of students and AT/BT/ST doctors. There is an opportunity for assignments at BVC, SÄBO, UM, and MVC. On-call duty may also be included.
We offer the opportunity to work partially remotely.
Your Competence
We are looking for you who are a doctor with specialist competence in general medicine with Swedish authorization and good ability to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written. You enjoy working in a team with the patient at the center and would like to contribute to the development of the business. Furthermore, we place great emphasis on personal qualities.
Our Operations
Gottsunda Health Center is located in bright and modern premises in Gottsunda center, in the southwestern part of Uppsala, where generous staff parking is available for only 300 SEK/month. We have about 13,000 registered patients and approximately 70 employees. Our operations are broad, and all professional areas within the health center's mission are represented. Many of our patients come from other countries and cultures, which we believe makes working with us particularly varied and interesting.
Our medical group currently consists of 4 ST doctors, 9 general practitioners with varying degrees of service, as well as AT and BT doctors. We receive good reviews from students and employees. We have a low staff turnover and a high level of knowledge throughout the health center. We are a warm and empathetic workplace that cares for our fellow human beings.
We have a well-known and successful concept regarding work with addictive medications and sick leave. Our workplace is also characterized by innovation and a willingness to change and improve.
