Job Responsibilities

In the role of service technician, you will work with service, troubleshooting, and repair of forklifts and construction machinery with both combustion engines and electric systems. A significant part of the work involves diagnosing and addressing faults in drivetrains, engine controls, battery systems, and charging solutions, where you will use both your technical experience and digital diagnostic tools. You will perform preventive maintenance to ensure the reliability and performance of the machines while managing both planned service tasks and more urgent interventions. The work is planned and structured in close collaboration with the service coordinator, and you will have ongoing contact with customers, colleagues, and internal functions. Through your professional demeanor and technical expertise, you contribute to high customer satisfaction and ensure that each assignment is carried out with quality and precision. In this position, you will primarily work in Kalmar's workshop in Gothenburg Harbor.

• Service, troubleshooting, and repair of forklifts and construction machinery

• Work with combustion engines and electric systems

• Diagnostics and resolution of faults in drivetrains, engine controls, battery systems, and charging solutions

• Preventive maintenance for increased reliability and performance

• Management of both planned and urgent service tasks

Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities

• Experience working with combustion engines and/or electric motors for heavy vehicles

• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written

• Driving license B
