The Social Administration is responsible for interventions, support, and services to individuals and families in the municipality. Our operations are primarily governed by the Social Services Act, the LSS Act, and the Health and Medical Services Act, and we implement interventions regulated by these laws. All operations are centered around the individual to meet their needs. The mission involves a strong customer focus and service spirit.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Investigate and assess applications according to LSS (Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons) and SoL (Social Services Act)
• Assess eligibility according to LSS
• Conduct needs assessments through conversations, home visits, and collaboration with other actors
• Make decisions on interventions according to LSS and SoL
• Document investigations, assessments, and decisions according to applicable legislation
• Establish implementation plans
• Follow up and reassess granted interventions
• Collaborate with relatives, guardians, service providers, schools, habilitation, and other authorities
• Inform individuals about rights, interventions, and the appeals process
• Handle appeals and statements to the administrative court
• Ensure legally secure processing according to LSS and the Administrative Procedure Act
• Participate in collaboration meetings and SIP (Coordinated Individual Plan)
• Work based on IBIC or another structured investigation method
• Contribute to quality development

QUALIFICATIONS

Degree in social work or other education deemed equivalent.
