I am a happy and curious 12-year-old girl living with my family in Sya, just outside Mantorp.

I enjoy exploring, playing pranks, and meeting people. I play hide and seek almost every day, love searching for things, enjoy changing clothes on my dolls, and playing games. At the same time, I also like quiet moments at home – snuggling and reading books. Sometimes I want to go shopping or take little trips.

Now I am looking for an assistant who wants to be an important part of my life.

Here’s what life is like with me

I go to school during the day and need assistance when I come home – in the afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Sometimes there is an opportunity for night shifts with sleeping duty.

I have a CP injury that affects my entire body, and I have epilepsy, which sometimes makes me tired. I need help with everything in my daily life – but that doesn’t mean the job is “nursing”. It’s about helping me live my life and be able to do things without my parents.

I communicate with my eyes and body language, so you need to be attentive and observant. As we get to know each other, you will notice that I am clearer than one might think.

Who are you?

You do not need to have a healthcare education.

You do not need to have worked as an assistant before.

The most important thing is that you:

• are safe, warm, and empathetic
• dare to take initiative
• are playful and creative
• have patience
• want to stay for a longer time

We will teach you the rest. You will receive an introduction and support so that you feel secure in the role. It is a job you grow into.

There are transfers involved in the work, so you need to have a decent level of physical fitness.

It’s about 15 minutes by bike from Mantorp station.

Having your own car is an advantage but not a requirement.

The positions:

• One position is 25-50% and the other 75-100%
• Afternoons/evenings on weekdays
• Weekends
• Opportunity for night shifts (sleeping duty)
• Start date by agreement

You will be employed by Björkö Assistans AB, which offers introduction, ongoing support, staff meetings, and wellness benefits. We follow the collective agreements of Vårdföretagarna and Kommunal (industry G).
