We are responsible for 31 preschools, 17 primary schools, adapted primary school, Nyköping High School, adapted upper secondary school, and adult education at Campus Nyköping. Nyköping is growing, and our school organization is developing in line with the municipality. We are now looking for teachers in mathematics and science subjects for Nyköping's Resource School.

Our Organization

The F-9 operations encompass 17 primary schools and adapted schools, distributed across seven principal areas. Each area has a principal, deputy principals, and student health teams. With schools both in urban and rural areas, we work for increased equity, integration, and high quality in municipal schools.

In recent years, we have developed our systematic quality work and a common language development approach. Each school has scheduled time for conferences, development work, and collaboration.

About the Principal Area

Nyköping's Resource School supports students in primary school who need extraordinary and complex support measures and who, despite extra adjustments and special support in their regular schooling, have not found their place. We follow the primary school's curriculum and work with a high adult density and small teaching groups.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a teacher for the Resource School who wants to make a difference in students' lifelong learning. Present and engaged educators provide unique opportunities. You will be part of a team with well-educated, certified, and competent teachers. Together with them and other staff, you will plan, evaluate, and develop the work based on our governing documents.

As a teacher, you are responsible for the educational work in one class and possibly in certain subjects in other classes, depending on how you in the team want to distribute the subjects among yourselves. You work based on the curriculum and translate the goals into enjoyable and meaningful learning. You pay attention to the children's needs and interests and support them in their development both intellectually and socially. All students in the school are everyone's responsibility.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a teaching degree with a focus on mathematics and science subjects and a certification issued by the Swedish National Agency for Education. You have a clear pedagogical insight and the ability to translate the curriculum's goals into your work. You have a clear leadership style and are strong in your student groups. You are flexible, structured, and well-prepared. You are a present and co-researching educator who challenges and stimulates students to develop. A strong belief in collaboration as a success factor for pedagogical development is a given for you. You have direct and humble communication with guardians and create trusting relationships with students and guardians.

You have a willingness to collaborate in teams and see opportunities before difficulties. A positive attitude is something we value highly. Digital tools are a natural part of your teaching, and you work based on differentiated instruction.
