In our principal area of Skogstorp and Hållsta, students from grades F-9 attend, and we have about 950 students. The principal area has just over 100 employees and is located in Skogstorp-Hållsta. Skogstorp is a residential community 7 km south of Eskilstuna. Hållsta school is located 4 km south of Skogstorp. Both schools are close to forests and nature. In our staff group, we have a high proportion of qualified educators, providing both security and stability. We see the F-9 perspective as a good prerequisite for working towards our vision and our goal that all students should be eligible for high school after their time with us.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a later teacher, you will be part of a team with subject teachers. You will be a subject teacher for grades 7-9, primarily teaching mathematics and preferably in other subjects such as science, technology, or another subject. You will plan and implement teaching based on your subject competence with the curriculum as a starting point. An important part of the work involves mentorship and creating good relationships with students, inspiring and supporting them in their learning. We strive for each student to be seen and acknowledged positively every day. You will also have development conversations and maintain close dialogue with guardians. The school has a well-developed student health service with all professions in place to support our daily work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a teaching degree and teaching certification with qualifications to teach in grades 7-9. It is a plus if you have previously taught in educational activities and have practical experience with the applicable curriculum. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form and are accustomed to using digital teaching materials in your teaching.
